Hedsor House is a 19th-century historic house set in 85 acres of parkland close to Maidenhead in Berkshire.

 

ASSIGNMENT

 

In 2007 the Shephard family decided to actively market Hedsor House, a Heritage property to the commercial sector including major companies within 15 to 20 miles of the venue – raising awareness of their extensive conference and meeting space facilities. To complement the marketing and sales activity, Generation for Growth were approached to undertake a 15-day assignment to raise their profile specifically with the automotive sector and indirectly, the Agency market.

 

The telemarketing assignment was undertaken on-site at Hedsor House and the brief entailed contacting 200 new contacts unknown to HH, which would result in 8 site visits.

 

Output and Results

 

With our extensive knowledge of corporate ‘event’ buyers and contacts within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions) Agency sector, GFG successfully leveraged 12 visits to Hedsor House.

 

This list included a number of well-known automotive brands – Hyundai, Kia Motors, Citroen, Volvo, Fiat Group, IM Group (Isuza, etc) and some of the top full service communication agencies who would commission venues such as Hedsor House for experiential events i.e. ‘off-road driving’ and ‘ride & drive’ events.
